Mark Manross to receive one of NASPE's highest honors

January 2005 - It was announced this week that Executive Editor, Mark Manross has been selected to receive one of NASPE's highest honors at the convention in Chicago, the Joy of Effort Award. This award is given in recognition of those individuals who, by performance and style, have personified the concept that the effort made to enrich the goals and objectives of physical education and sport is a labor of love, inspired by commitment and dedication. Mark personifies all that this recognition symbolizes.

Mark is the brains behind PE Central and has overseen the development of the site from inception to the present. He does this because of a passion to promote quality Physical Education. This award will be presented to him at the NASPE Hall of Fame banquet Friday, April 15 at 7 pm in Chicago.
