Client Objective:

eLearning for Kids, Inc. contracted with ACI to redesign the Healthy Hearts 4 Kids online educational module. The goals for the redesign included making the site more visually appealing to fifth and sixth graders through the creation of eight Healthy Hearts characters, the addition of animation, sound and other visual components. Two new instructional areas were also designed, Go Figure and Game Time. The Log It area was upgraded and removed from the instructional section. And the admin area was upgraded to support family member registration and the ability to modify the site and create state specific templates and admin accounts.

ACI Vision:

ACI custom designed eight Healthy Hearts characters that represented a broad range of ethnic and gender backgrounds performing a variety of physical activities. ACI completely redesigned the Healthy Hearts 4 Kids web site by creating new templates for each user group and each topic. Go Figure and Game Time were developed completely in Flash maximizing student interaction and animation. The site architecture was designed to support the addition of family members in the site and to allow the site to be customized for individual state usage.
