PE Central received suggestions from their users on ways to improve Log-It. These improvements focused on a variety of areas throughout the site, with the primary focus on improving the usability of the Challenge area for teachers. Teachers suggested decreasing the wait time to start a Challenge as well as decreasing the time to see final Challenge results. Additionally, PE Central wanted to add an auto-archiving feature so teachers were no longer required to manually archive each completed Challenge.
The addition of these enhancements will improve the usability throughout the site and will make the Challenge area in particular more user-friendly. Classes will no longer have to wait 15 days to start a Challenge or six days for a Challenge to be completed. Auto-archiving will be turned on and the data associated with a Challenge will be stored for prosperity and no longer will be affected by students leaving a class allowing the Challenge map to be available as long as the class exists. Other items will further enhance the end users web experience adding new features and streamlining others keeping Log-It at the top of the physical education websites.
